The hotel's location was remote, by a local taxi. Moreover, it was right by a restaurant in Hue, and a good 25-30 minutes walk from the famous citadel. The services were brilliant, offered us strong free Wi-Fi.

Perfect hide out and ideally located a bit outside of downtown Hue, very quiet and relaxing place. The room was enormously spacious with balcony. Just the TV was too small for that kind of hotel category. Staff was very helpful and friendly, just everybody said hello when passing by. The pool area is simply beautiful. Breakfast is good. We would definetily recommend it for your next stay in Hue.
Just one thing - TV in the room too small.

Pilgrim Villlage feels much more modern and relaxing compared to the traditional luxuary hotels with gold taps 4. Excellent spa and good yoga class in the mornings 5. In the handicraft house we found the best collection of Vietnamese handicraft on our trip 6. Beautiful and calm pool area
Excellent hotel!

Ideal hotel and stunning location close to the center of hue. A decent size units with a fabulous balcony, and amazingly efficient staff. True 5-star experience, outstanding service. Friendly check-in. Location really close to sounds of the forest. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Tomb of Khai Dinh. Awesome and lovely hot waffles and eggs for breakfast. Really amazing stay, as always.

Staff were very friendly and even gardeners greeted you with good morning or good afternoon. Very helpful with our small child. Assisted with queries about areas to travel and shop in Hue. A female staff member "Lo-an" was very helpful to us as a family. Rooms are set in landscaped areas, food was good but at resort prices. Onsite spa/beauty services were good.
All was very nice, but if staying for a few days and have a baby/ child who needs day rest, you would be best to call housekeeping as you leave the room - they tended to come at different hours everyday .

Very good value for money, beautiful setting, quiet, nice and huge rooms.
The air conditioning... It was way too hot in the room, because the AC unit was not powerful enough to cool down the air (too big room:-)

The hotel is very nice, but really 4.5 stars, not five. It is located about 15 minutes outside the centre of Hue, but the resort offers an hourly shuttle, so the distance does not create any problem. Taxis are not expensive. We were happy to escape Hue, and have some time to enjoy the 40 meter pool and the peaceful surroundings. The staff were friendly and efficient. We were luckily upgraded to a honeymoon bungalow, which was spacious and comfortable, and had a very big Japanese style sunken bath tub more than big enough for two. Allow 30 minutes to fill! Breakfasts were very good. We did not dine at the resort. We would happily stay here again.
One downside was that their gym was not open, and it looked extremely poorly equipped. We were also quite surprised that when we checked out we were requested to wait while they double checked that we had not left anything. Actually, they were checking that we had not taken anything, a bit of an insult.

Perfect for a peaceful getaway
This place had so many beautiful gardens and pools, it reminded me of paradise. The staff was helpful, especially a guy named Thanh who gave us great tips for exploring around.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but trust me it was worth every penny.

We stayed in a Traditional Vietnamese Pool House, and it was fantastic! Super comfy bed and a fine bathroom. The whole vibe felt rustic and cozy, and we had our own private pool. Waking up to the sounds of nature was a highlight. It really seemed like a retreat! Just a note, getting to the dining area took a bit of walking, but it was worth it for the amazing food.

We booked this hotel as there was a very convenient offer on Booked.net and also because the beauty of the resort. Although we booked a deluxe villa they gave us the honey moon bungalow which was very nice. We liked it so much that we stayed another night. The restaurant is very good although slighlty expensive compared to the avarage. Definetely worthy. The seafood soup was superb. The staff is extremely kind. The resort is far from the center (about 15 min by taxi) but we did not care about this as we were looking for a peaceful place. Hue is very busy and we found the location of the resort perfect. Definetely we recommend.
Location although it was not a negative aspect for us, but for people who prefer city center may be.
